FIFA Bans Former Executive Member Worawi Makudi For Three Months
According to FIFA, Worawi Makudi, a longtime ally of Mohamed bin Hammam, "was still involved" in the Thailand football federation's affairs despite being given a provisional ban by ethics committee.

FIFA said on Monday that former executive committee member Worawi Makudi of Thailand has been banned for three months for failing to obey a previous ban. (FIFA Sanctions Franz Beckenbauer Over World Cup Bidding Probe)
FIFA said its disciplinary committee imposed the latest sanction for a breach of provisional bans imposed by the ethics committee. (FIFA Court Bans Jerome Valcke For 12 Years For Misconduct)
According to FIFA, Makudi, a longtime ally of Mohamed bin Hammam, "was still involved" in the Thailand football federation's affairs despite the ethics suspension.
Thailand football officials elected a new president this month to replace Makudi.
The ban imposed on Monday will replace a 45-day provisional ban by ethics judges which was to expire on Wednesday. FIFA gave no details of Makudi's ongoing ethics case.
He was on the FIFA executive committee for 18 years until being voted off last year.
