Maradona and Veron dont have a pleasing past as manager-player
Football legend Diego Maradona is back in the news, albeit for a wrong reason, after he clashed with fellow Argentine Juan Sebastian Veron in a charity match on Wednesday.
The charity 'Match for Peace and Solidarity', organised by Pope Francis to raise funds for earthquake victims in Italy, witnessed ugly scenes after the duo were entangled in a tackle.
The feisty Maradona didn't take too kindly to former Chelsea and Manchester United medio Veron's off-the-ball challenge and confronted him as they walked off the pitch at half-time.

"I don't f**k you about, I tell you straight to your face idiot," Maradona was quoted as saying by Metro.
'El Diego' was so livid that he had to be calmed down by former Brazil captain Cafu and physically restrained by the security personnel.
The two share a dubious past, which dates back to the time when Maradona was manager of the Argentina side.
Diego Maradona - Class is permanent
Apart from the bust up, there was plenty on show for fans of the World Cup winner.
Maradona's delightful assist for Italian Francesco Totti's goal was perhaps the highlight his performance.

The 55-year-old might have aged, but when it comes to playing the sport he loves, Maradona continues to bring the same passion and desire he did as a player at the peak of his powers.
