Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti on Friday hinted that David Beckham will start Saturday's Ligue 1 match against Nancy at the Parc des Princes.
The veteran Englishman was left on the bench for the entirety of Wednesday's Champions League last 16, second leg, against Valencia, when a 1-1 draw took the French giants through to the quarter-finals 3-2 on aggregate.
But that means he is fresher than most of his team-mates for a match that PSG will be expected to win, with Ancelotti's side two points clear of Lyon at the top of the table and Nancy in the relegation zone.
"He is available and, like all of the players who didn't play (on Wednesday), he has a greater chance of being on the pitch on Saturday," said Ancelotti at his eve-of-game press briefing.
PSG will be without Christophe Jallet and Thiago Motta for the game, with the latter picking up a minor calf problem on Wednesday on his return after a spell out injured.
Jeremy Menez is back, however, after missing the Valencia match.
