Court of Arbitration for Sport to Announce Decision on Michel Platini's Appeal on Friday

The ethics committee suspension prevents Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) president Platini from standing in the FIFA presidential election to be held in February 2016.
The Frenchman was suspended for 90 days on October 7 by the ethics committee of FIFA, after the Swiss Prosecutor accused the organisation's president Sepp Blatter of disloyal management and breach of trust.
On November 12, the electoral committee of FIFA selected five candidates for the post of president, excluding Platini because of his suspension.
