The second Group C match in Copa America saw Argentina take on a depleted USA.

The second Group C match in Copa America saw Argentina take on a depleted USA. Though USA took the early lead, Argentina came from behind to rout them 4-1.

Eddie Johnson put the US ahead with a penalty kick in the ninth minute but Argentina were quick to respond.

Henan Crespo scoring for Argentina in the 11th minute, to level the score 1-1.

Crespo dealt the second blow as well, scoring in the 64th minute.

USA, missing a number of their key players, were overwhelmed by the two time World champions, who went onto score twice more through Pablo Aimar and Carlos Tevez.

US Goalkeeper Kasey Keller, who made his 101st international appearance, was no match for the Argentinian strikers, as the US defence collapsed in the face of some fine pass play.
