Beckham misses Galaxy game with back spasms
Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham did not accompany the team for its road game Saturday night against the Colorado Rapids.

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham did not accompany the team for its road game Saturday night against the Colorado Rapids.
Team officials said Beckham remained home because of back spasms. Beckham's name did not appear on the team's injury report.
The Galaxy earned a 3-1 win over the Rapids.
"We didn't know his situation until Friday," Los Angeles coach Bruce Arena said. "We're traveling on Friday, we made a decision he's not coming on Friday and we left."
During five seasons with the Galaxy, Beckham has played only once in Colorado on March 29, 2008 - a game the Rapids won 4-0.
