Sao Paulo fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Atletico Paranaense in the first leg of the 2005 Copa Libertadores final in Porto Alegre, Brazil on Wednesday.
Aloisio gave Atletico Paranaense a 14th minute lead.
But Durval's second half own goal led to Sao Paulo picking up a deserved draw.
It was for the first time in the 45-year history of the Copa Libertadores that two sides from the same country faced each other in the two-leg final. (AP)
