Spain coach Vicente del Bosque named an unchanged team to face Croatia on Monday in their final Euro 2012 Group C clash while Croatia's Slaven Bilic made two changes in a reshuffled side.
A draw would be good enough to put defending champions and World Cup winners Spain through to the quarter-finals while a win secures first place in the group.
A victory for Croatia means they definitely qualify as group winners and will also be through with a draw providing they score two goals in the process.
Having played a 4-4-2 formation in the opening 3-1 win over Ireland and the 1-1 draw with Italy, Bilic opted for a 4-2-3-1 formation against Spain with Mario Mandzukic playing as a lone striker.
Captain Darijo Srna moves up from right-back to the right wing with Dinamo Zagreb's Domagoj Vida coming in for him on the right side of defence.
Bayern Munich's Danijel Pranjic has been named on the left wing with Tottenham Hotspur star Luka Modric in the middle while attacking midfielder Ivan Perisic drops to the bench.
