Chelsea star Nicolas Anelka will join Shanghai Shenhua in January, the club said on Monday, in a huge boost for Chinese football.
The 32-year-old Frenchman will join the club in the Chinese metropolis next month after the "winter transfer window opens", Shenhua said in a brief statement, which did not mention the value of the deal.
