Liverpool:

Liverpool have sold England midfielder Jonjo Shelvey to fellow Premier League side Swansea City for 5 million pounds ($7.6 million).

The 21-year-old Shelvey spent three years at Anfield following his move from Charlton but was never a first-team regular.

He did, though, make his senior England debut last year during a 5-0 win over San Marino.
