Chelsea romped to a 4-0 victory over host Thailand in the Premier League side's second friendly match in Asia Sunday at Bangkok's Rajamangala National Stadium.

Frank Lampard opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a long-range strike but Andre Villas-Boas' team appeared to wilt in the tropical heat as the game wore on.

Bolstered by the introduction of eight substitutes including Didier Drogba, Chelsea stretched its lead with second-half goals by Jose Bosingwa, Branislav Ivanovic and Florent Malouda.

Chelsea beat Malaysia 1-0 on Thursday and travels to Hong Kong to play Kitchee on Wednesday.
