Arsenal F.C's lead at the top of the Premier League remained at just goal difference on Sunday after the title hopefuls were held to a 0-0 draw by Stoke City F.C. (Holders Arsenal Start Road to FA Cup History)
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud had early chances in each half but Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland reacted brilliantly to stop an angled shot and then a bullet header after the break. (Olivier Giroud Nets Brace as Arsenal F.C. Draw Against Liverpool F.C.)
Though chasing possession for much of the second half, a spirited Stoke deserved a point and could have taken all three - if not for a superb double save by Petr Cech midway through the second half.
Cech palmed away a shot by Joselu and then blocked the follow-up from Bojan Krkic.
