Fast bowler Tino Best hit the highest ever Test score by a No. 11 batsman and Denesh Ramdin made 107 not out to help West Indies to 426 at lunch on day four of the third Test against England.
Best scored 95, including a six and 14 fours from 112 balls, before he was caught by Andrew Strauss off Graham Onions at Edgbaston on Sunday.
Best and Ramdin shared a last-wicket partnership of 143.
Onions claimed 4-88. Steven Finn, with 3-109, had removed Ravi Rampaul with the third ball of the day.
Rain prevented play on the first two days of the Test.
