Teddco Cricket Club make quarters of 40th GG Dutt memorial meet

Teddco will now meet champions ONGC on June 7, 2013.

With the help of Arif Alam's 65 and Nitin Srivastava's 52, Teddco Cricket Club moved into the quarterfinal of the 40th All India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament 2013 as they beat Madras Cricket Club by 2 wickets in a pre-quarter final round match played at St. Stephen's college ground, Mori Date, Delhi.

Teddco will now meet champions ONGC on June 7, 2013.

Teddco skipper Pratham Singh won the toss and invited the Madras Club to bat first. Madras club scored only 196 runs before being all out in 37.2 overs.

In reply Teddco scored the needed 197 runs in 38.5 overs by losing 8 wickets with the help of fine batting of Nitin Srivastava, who hit 5 fours and a six in his 46-ball knock while Arish Alam hit five fours in his 86-ball knock.
