Top Indian cricketers have used Twitter as a platform to reach out to their fans and have urged everyone to stay safe this Diwali.

India all-rounder Suresh Raina on Thursday, took to twitter to wish fans and fellow cricketers on Diwali. While Raina was among several Indian cricketers to share the festival's joy, New Zealand star Ross Taylor was not far behind in wishing his Indian counterparts.

India legend Sachin Tendulkar has urged his fans to make this Diwali 'extra' special for children.

Diwali is all about crackers, lights and sweets, but  India vice-captain Virat Kohli will be celebrating the festival cheering for his Indian Super League side FC Goa, who will face Atletico de Kolkata.

Rohit Sharma found a unique way of wishing and posted a Youtube video message by US President Barack Obama.
