Salwan Boys High School Retain Delhi Daredevils Cup
Delhi Daredevils players Shahbaz Nadeem and Saurabh Tiwary encouraged the kids as Salwan Boys High School defeated Delhi Public School, Mathura Road to win the 3rd edition of USA Pears Daredevils School Cup.

Salwan Boys High School retained the 3rd edition of USA Pears Daredevils School Cup crown with a 22-run victory over Delhi Public School, Mathura Road here on Monday.
Asked to bat first at the Jamia ground, Salwan boys had a disastrous start when they lost opener Aryan Juyal without a single run on the board. But a 72-run partnership for the third wicket between Prashant Vashisht (50 not out) and Nitin Tanwar (50) took them to a comfortable 139 of three.
In response, none of the Delhi Public School batsmen could convert their starts into a big innings and the team always played catch up with the scoring rate and ended up way short of the target.
Vashisht came up with an all-round performance claiming two wickets for nine runs in his three overs and was adjudicated the Daredevil of the Match.
The finalists also got an opportunity to interact with Indian Premier League stars Saurabh Tiwary and Shahbaz Nadeem, who gave the players tips on how to work towards a career in the sport.
Nadeem said, " I started playing cricket from the age of 6 but never had competitions like these during my days. So I believe, youngsters should make full advantage of tournaments like these to showcase their talent."
Also present at the glittering presentation ceremony were title sponsor USA Pears's Keith Sunderlal , SP Bansal (President-DDCA & VP-BCCI) and Delhi Daredevils Director, T.A. Sekhar along with Delhi Daredevils Management team.
