New Delhi:
Justice Albie Sachs is expected to announce his decision on the six-match ban on Sourav Ganguly today.
Justice Sachs had been appointed as an arbitrator to hear the dispute between BCCI and ICC over the ban.
He will reach his verdict on the basis of written submissions made by both parties.
Ganguly, who was earlier banned for six ODIs for a slow over rate, returned to Kolkata on Thursday after completing his county stint with Glamorgan.
If the ban is overturned, he will be able to join the Indian team in Sri Lanka for the tri-series that begins on July 30.
He has already been named as the 16th member in the squad.
