A Rajasthan under-19 player named Aditya Garwal hit 18 sixes and 22 fours en route to a record brilliant unbeaten 263 off 151 balls against Railways in a Vinoo Mankad Trophy central zone one-day match in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Rajasthan scored 413 for 3 in 50 overs in the match held at the University Ground. MN Singh scored 94 as Rajasthan posted a mammoth total.
Singh and Garwal added a record third wicket partnership of 261 runs for the third wicket.
In reply, Railways were bundled out for 147 in 42.2 overs. Rajasthan won by a huge margin of 266 runs.
Mohit Pal top-socred with 42 while Shubham Sharma was the most impressive bowler returning impressive figures of 5 for 42.
