Mark Donald Craig is a useful all-round cricketer who made his debut for Otago in the 2008-09 T20 campaign. An attacking off-spinner, Craig took the mantle of opening the bowling on many occasions for his team and played a crucial role in winning that year's domestic T20 competition. Diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome - an illness which drains energy and leaves the sufferer feeling flat, Craig lost as many as two seasons for his side. But after his recovery, he impressed many on the back of some strong performances in first-class cricket that saw him earn a recall in the T20 squad. He is also a useful left-handed batsman who bats lower down the order.
