David Johan Jacobs, better known as “Davy”, is a wicket-keeper batsman and represents the Warriors. The South-African has scored over 4000 runs in first-class cricket at an average of above 40 and a highest score of 218.
For the first seven seasons of his career, his captains at Eagles knew they could count on his forthright batting skills and solid wicket-keeping which even the Warriors realized. Subsequently, he was rewarded for his ability when the latter named him their captain.
His performance in the 2010 Champions League Twenty20 saw him earning a place in the Mumbai Indians camp too for IPL's season four.
