Live Score - Pakistan vs Australia updates
Well that is all from us from this series. Cricket isn't too far away from UAE. New Zealand are already here and they begin their tour on the 9th of November with the first of three Tests. Australia go back home to face South Africa for a limited over series starting on the 5th of November. Till that time, it's goodbye from us.
Misbah-ul-Haq is named the Man of the Match for his hundreds in each innings. Younus Khan is named the Man of the Series for his record-breaking performance with the bat.
Lot of awards to be presented... 1.Master blaster award - Misbah-ul-Haq, 2.Best batsmen of the series award - Younus Khan, 3.Fastest Test century award - Misbah-ul-Haq, 4.Most colourful innings award - Azhar Ali, 5.Fastest 100 of the match - Misbah-ul-Haq, 6.Brilliant spell of bowling in the series - Zulfiqar Babar.
Australia are in need of a lot of soul-searching after this series. Spin has been a perennial worry for them and they seem to be going nowhere with their technique. They are yet to find a steady number 3. David Warner and Steven Smith were the standouts in the series but the others really need to take the blame on themselves, especially their skipper Michael Clarke.
On a flat deck, the Pakistani batsmen were merciless while the Aussies just didn't have any clue against their bowlers. Special mention to Younus Khan who was sublime in the series with the bat scoring 3 consecutive hundreds. Not to forget Misbah who carted the Aussies all over the park en route to the joint-fastest hundred. Azhar Ali scored hundreds in both innings as well.
All over then! Pakistan have clean-sweeped the Aussies 2-0 and what a performance this has been. After 20 long years, Pakistan have won a series against Australia, well worth the wait! They completely outplayed the Aussies in every department and what a comeback it has been by them. They lost the ODIs and the T20I but when it mattered the most, they just turned the heat on the Aussies and ran out worthy winners.

(Who knows, could even be the final one of the match)...
