We have witnessed a nail biter today and the crowd got their full money worth. A great moment for a small cricketing nation to register a tie against a good West Indies side and definitely worth cherishing. We hope you enjoyed our coverage today. Join us for the 4th ODI between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka on 21st November in Bulawayo (0930 local, 1300 IST). Till then, goodbye and take care!
Man of the Match, Shai Hope says that a hundred doesn't mean much if you don't win. Adds that the pitch had a bit of grip and the bowlers bowled really well.
Zimbabwe skipper, Graeme Cremer says that they made some mistakes in the second half and it could have gone their way. Adds that they fought back well. Mentions that they dropped a couple of catches. Feels that they were 15-20 runs short but it was a terrific effort from his boys.
West Indies skipper, Jason Holder says that he is disappointed. Feels that they should have won the game. Adds they need to learn a lot from this and hope it doesn't happen in future. Praises Hope who scored a great century and Kraigg Brathwaite as well for his handy knock. Credits the bowlers who bowled really well too.
Russell Tiffin gets a special award for standing in 150 ODIs. He becomes the first Zimbabwean to achieve this feat. He is felicitated by Zimbabwe Cricket. Don't forget this is the 200th ODI in Zimbabwe as well.
Earlier, Zimbabwe posted a decent total on the board after winning the toss, thanks to fifties from Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza. The former missed out on his ton by just 8 runs. They could have posted more but some late wickets towards the end hampered their chances. Carlos Brathwaite was the pick of the bowlers for West Indies as he grabbed four wickets. The Windies lost a couple of wickets cheaply in their run chase but Shai Hope and Kraigg Brathwaite shared a superb 162-run stand which almost sealed the game. Zimbabwe were really quick with their over rate too, not to forget that. Their spinners were accurate and didn't really let West Indies score freely. Williams and Tiripano finished with two wickets each while Cremer and Mpofu got one apiece.
West Indies were 220 for three at one stage, 38 needed from 33 balls and with some hard hitters to follow, they were complete favourites. Shai Hope, the centurion's wicket sparked a collapse as West Indies lost quick wickets. All the batsmen got out in a bid to score quick runs. Donald Tiripano bowled a superb last over and didn't let the tourists win this encounter.
Unbelievable! We've witnessed a thriller here in Bulawayo! West Indies were cruising at one stage but Zimbabwe fought back hard and didn't let the visitors to win! Just the third Tie in Zimbabwe and first in 19 years. Amazing game of cricket! As they say, it's a game of glorious uncertainties.

Donald Tiripano To Jason Holder OUT!
TIE! WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT? Drama, absolute drama! Zimbabwe are celebrating, you can't catch them as they're simply running all along the ground! It's a fuller length ball wide outside off, Holder goes after it but misses. The batsmen run across but the keeper collects the ball and scores a direct hit at the striker's end where Carter fails to make it in. Eyes on the umpire if he signals it a wide but no it's a legal delivery and the match is tied!
One needed from one ball! Tie?

Donald Tiripano To Jason Holder OUT!
OUT! It's all happening! Nurse is run out! Fuller length ball around off, Holder chips it back to the bowler who drops the catch but the ball goes on to hit the stumps at the non-striker's end. Nurse, at the other end is out of the crease and he's run out. What an unfortunate dismissal, can't be unluckier than that. Zimbabwe are all pumped up. The crowd is totally enjoying this moment. This is getting so close!
Ashley Nurse is the next man in.

Donald Tiripano To Carlos Brathwaite OUT!
OUT! Brathwaite is a goner! Back of a length ball on off, Brathwaite tries to smash it down the ground but miscues. The ball goes really high up in the air and Williams gets under it near deep mid on, takes a safe catch and the big fish has to depart. Can Zimbabwe hold their nerves here?
