So, that is it from this game then! Bangladesh's impressive record over Pakistan in recent time continues. Pakistan on the other hand, will be very, very disappointed and their World Cup campaign is more or less over. That is it from this game then, cricketing action does not end here though as there is another game going on between England and South Africa. You can catch all the action by switching tabs. Until next time, take care and goodbye!
Nigar Sultana, the victorious skipper, is in for a chat. She says she cannot believe they what they just accomplished. Mentions, they have known Pakistan since a long time and adds, the girls did work hard. Ends by saying, she hopes they keep growing with each victory and knows what her side is capable of.
Bismah Maroof, the Pakistan skipper says, this defeat is very hard to digest. Mentions they were very well in the game, but a few bad shots cost them the game. Says, it is very hard to end up on the wrong side with two close results going against them.
Fahima Khatun wins the Player of the Match for her exceptional spell with the ball. She starts by thanking the almighty. Mentions, she just kept bowling the right areas and it proved to be successful. She just aimed to bowl according to the field. Says it was a very sporty wicket and any bowlers who keep hitting the right areas will find a lot of success on this wicket.
Stay tuned for presentation...
Bangladesh for most of the part were behind in the game. Not only that, they were shambolic in the field as there were far too many misfields and dropped catches. The only good thing is they just never wanted to give up and their bowlers kept coming at the Pakistan batters. Fahima Khatun has to be the one that has won them the game. She bagged three out of which two came in one over which was the one which turned the game. Salma Khatun along with Rumana Ahmed was also brilliantly. Not all the bowlers were on song but they were a lot more hungrier to win this one and in the end, have come out on top. This is also their first win in Women's World Cup.
Pakistan will be mighty disappointed. Their top three just laid it on the plate for them. First it was Ameen and Nahida Khan, and then the former with her skipper. The three in total added 155. Run a ball was needed when Maroof was dismissed but almost no contribution from the middle and the lower order put all the responsibility on the shoulders of Ameen to taking them over the line. It was too much of an ask for the centurion and her side remains without a win.
What a win, what a win that is for Bangladesh! They looked down and out when Pakistan were two down for 155 in the 38th over but the wicket of Maroof changed it all. It all went so wrong for them after that. They lost wickets in heaps, one after the another in no time and have fallen short by not a lot.

Nahida Akter To Nashra Sandhu OUT!
OUT! Sidra Ameen is short! That has to be the game for Bangladesh! Sidra Ameen was Pakistan's last hope. End of an outstanding innings from her but she will be disappointed she could not take her side over the line. This is tossed up on off, Sandhu hits it through covers and the batters go for two. Ritu Moni picks the ball up in the deep and fires it to the bowler who whips the bails off and appeals. It is taken upstairs and replays show that Ameen is short.
Is that a run out? The umpire takes it upstairs. The replays show the batter is short when the bails are coming off. Sidra Ameen has to walk back now.
