Mushfiqur Rahim, the skipper of Khulna Tigers says that the way the bowlers bowled on this track and the way the fielders backed them up was the key and adds that Fletcher was outstanding. He adds that it is a collective performance and 3 or 4 bowlers did well in the middle overs and will like to do the same in the next match as well. He mentions that he enjoyed his batting today as he couldn't contribute in the last two games and they have a big match coming up as well and will look to continue the good form.
Andre Fletcher, is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his brilliant knock of 58 runs from 47 balls. He says that he is still feeling a bit of pain and he is happy to contribute and win the game. He mentions that the wicket was bit slow and he tried to occupy the crease and wanted to stay deep in the chase. He states that Rahim played a good innings and it was an all-round effort and they need to continue this momentum and keep working hard.
Mehidy Hasan, the skipper of Chattogram Challengers says that the wicket was excellent and they were looking for 170 but it wasn't meant to be. He adds that after the first 6 overs, they lost wickets in the middle overs and couldn't accumulate the runs as well. He mentions that they are not disappointed but it's just that they needed to get more runs on the board.

Chattogram Challengers bowlers managed to put the pressure on with some disciplined bowling for the majority of the innings. But eventually, they just were 20-odd runs short and in the end, the credit must be given to them that they have taken this game till the second last over. Their skipper, Mehidy Hasan got the big wicket of Andre Fletcher in the 15th over and things were looking quite interesting at that time. However, the fourth wicket partnership between Seekkuge Prasanna and Rahim sealed the deal in the favour of Khulna Tigers. Earlier in the game, Challengers posted a below-par total as their batting crumbled against some quality bowling by Tigers. Things were looking difficult for Challengers from thereon and though they managed to make a match out of that total but it was never going to be enough.
Khulna Tigers were favourites to chase this one down after the end of the first innings and despite losing Sarkar early, they were well on course to chase this down. The wicket of Rony Talukdar after a good second wicket partnership dried up boundaries for some time. Things were looking quite evenly poised at one time as Fletcher and Rahim started building up the partnership. Fletcher departed after a good fifty but it was the innings of Rahim under immense pressure that took Tigers home. Seekkuge Prasanna with few lusty blows in the end sealed the deal in the favour of Tigers.
What an innings this has been from Mushfiqur Rahim. Just when his team was under the pump he delivered a classy innings and Khulna Tigers have managed to avenge the defeat they suffered in the last game against the Challengers. A comfortable victory in the end and Khulna Tigers are back to winning ways.
