Right then, an end to a controversial game at the most historic venue, Lord's. There couldn't be more drama but the series comes to an end and India Women seal the series with a 3-0 win. Harmanpreet Kaur joins her side who are waiting for her to get the celebrations started. It is Jhulan Goswami who is surrounded by all the players with the trophy in her hands. She lifts the trophy and the party has began. An emphatic win for India Women away from home. England Women will get some time off, as they have no games scheduled for them as of now. Harmanpreet Kaur, the victorious captain of India Women is in for a chat. On being asked about the final wicket, she says that it was not easy to bat on and the players batted well to get the runs on the board. Adds that it was a team effort. She tried to avoid the question the first time, but is asked again. She jokingly says that she wasn't asked about the nine wickets they took but only focusing on that controversial one. Informs that she will always back her players and that the win is a win. Further says that they need to continue with the same form and continue to win games. Ends by saying that Jhulan Goswami was always her mentor and they discuss the team strategies together and is really emotional as she always used to be a call away and came whenever the team needed her.
Amy Jones, the skipper of England Women is in for a chat. She says that she is not happy with the result. Adds they wanted a good patnership in the middle. Mentions the final wicket divides opinions and she is certainly ain't a fan adds that it depends on how India feel about it. Adds that have learned a lot in 50 overs match specially in 2nd ODI. Further says there has been very young talent and it was a good summer for them. Charlotte Dean absorbed the pressure well but hardluck. Thanks the coach, Lisa Keightley who is parting ways, adds that she was very brilliant. She wishes her all the best for the future and says that they will miss having her around.
Renuka Singh wins the Player of the Match award for her spell of 10-1-29-4. She says that she talks with her coach and he is the one who gives her confidence and motivation. Adds that when she got her debut and her inspiration was always been Jhulan Goswami. Ends by saying that she was excited to play at Lord's and her dream was to get a five-for but she couldn't get it.

Earlier in the innings, India Women were in all sort of trouble with the blade. They lost 4 wickets inside the first Powerplay. It was Smriti Mandhana's half-ton followed by Deepti Sharma's valiant knock of 68 runs added some impetus to the scoreboard. For England Women it was Kate Cross who shone with the ball with her four-set. She certainly set the tone with ball. Later, England Women managed to get closer to the victory line but fell short in the end.
An unbelievable ending to the series! India Women have completed the clean sweep. They bid farewell to Jhulan Goswami on a great note, one could even say a bit controversial but it is within the rules of the game. Coming back to the innings, India Women kept things tight from the word go. Jhulan Goswami and Renuka Singh bowled well in tandem up top. Goswami took time to grow into the game, but it was Renuka Singh who got rid of the opening pair inside the first Powerplay. That surely gave them a sniff and they came back strongly into the game. They put a lid over the run flow and had England Women by the scruff of the neck soon after. It did got nail-biting in the end for India with the final wicket taking almost 8 overs to come, rather in a unfashionable manner. Jhulan Goswami ends final innings with two wickets. It was Renuka Singh who stood out with the ball with her four-fer.
England Women needed to chase down a lower target than what they would've envisioned before the match surely. They did began the chase on a positive with Emma Lamb being the aggressor while Tammy Beaumont played the second fiddle. Once Lamb slipped out it looked the floodgates were open and England Women had no control over the wickets. Suddenly, they were teetering at 53/6. Throughout their innings, they were never troubled by the required run rate, but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They were the architect of their own downfall. Although, against all the odds, Charlotte Dean and Freya Davies stitched a stand of 35 runs off 49 balls for the final wicket. They were certainly on track to chase it down, but it could not end well for them. Also, it is rather a sad ending for Lisa Keightley's chapter with this England Women's side.
A rather anticlimatic end to an entralling low-scoring match! Not even in anyones wildest dreams one would've thought that the series will be concluded with a mankading incident. A dagger through the heart of England Women. The dressing room is in shock. Charlotte Dean is in tears. She still goes onto shake hands with the Indian players. OUT! Here comes the controversy as Charlotte Dean has been Mankaded. It's smart work by the bowler, observed that the non-striker batter was venturing out of the crease too much and the bowler wasted no time in taking the bails off at the bowler's end. As always, the debate will go on as many feel that Mankading is against the spirit of the game but ICC have kept it legal.
