Abhishek joins the party, striking twice in two balls to wrap up Sri Lanka's innings. Sri Lanka are all out for 45 as India win by 124 runs to enter the gold medal match, where they will face Pakistan on Saturday. A convincing performance from India, led by Ishan Kishan's outstanding 80 not out on a tricky pitch.

Another direct hit, and we have the third run out of the innings. And just like that, Sri Lanka have hit the self-destruct button again. India two wickets away from setting up a gold medal clash against Pakistan.

Tharindu Ratnayake run out (Tilak Varma) 5 (15)

SL: 45/8 (9.3)

Looks like we are going to have an India vs Pakistan final for the gold medal. Speaking of India vs Pakistan, the two arch-rivals meet in men's hockey at the Asian Games today. The match starts at 1 PM IST and you can click here to follow all the action.

Sahan's reverse sweep backfires as he only gets a glove to it and the ball flies straight to slip. Sri Lanka lose their seventh and we are heading for a premature end to this game.

Wanuja Sahan c Abhishek Sharma b Washington Sundar 1 (8)

SL: 33/7 (6.2)

Another one bites the dust! A huge mix-up ends Fernando's stay in the middle. Fernando brought out the reverse sweep and the ball went to short third. Zero communication from the two batters as Fernando is halfway down the pitch and the non-striker didn't move an inch. Axar's throw is gathered by Samson, who takes the bails off.

Nuwanidu Fernando run out (Patel/Samson) 15 (11)

SL: 31/6 (4.5)

After Bumrah, Axar too has two in the same over. Arachchige and Bandara are giving catching practice to the Indian fielders. Two more wickets for India and Sri Lanka have lost half of their team.

Direct hit from Ravi Bishnoi and Crosspulle is well short of his crease. Hard luck for Sri Lanka!

Lasith Croospulle run out (Ravi Bishnoi) 0 (0)

Edged and taken! Samson makes an outstretched dive to grab the ball with one hand. Livera tried to defend it towards extra cover, but gets a thick edge. Samson makes no mistake and Bumrah gets his second.

Sohan de Livera c Samson b Bumrah 0 (3)

SL: 1/2 (0.5)

Nightmare start to Sri Lanka's chase! Bumrah strikes on the second ball. Jayawardena tries to hoick it cross-batted, but this one skids on and hits him on the pads. Looked plumb and the umpire raised his finger straightaway.

Sineth Jayawardena lbw b Bumrah 0 (2)

Big finish for India as 18 runs come off that final over! Kishan finishes unbeaten on 80 and Sundar on 7 off three balls. That's a gritty knock from Kishan, given the way the pitch was behaving. Sri Lanka need 161 runs to enter the gold medal match.

What a catch! Arachchige plucks one out of mid-air to give Dube his marching orders. That was struck hard from Dube but Arachchige made it look easy. India now seven wickets down.

Shivam Dube c Arachchige b Ratnayake 3 (9)

IND: 151/7 (18.5)

That's high and handsome! Ishan Kishan gets to his half-century in style. That turned sharply, but Kishan charges down and belts it over long-off. He is fighting a lone battle.

IND: 134/6 (16.1)

Big concern for India as both Axar and Tilak depart in quick succession. The Sri Lankan spinners have weaved a web around the Indian batters. Ishan Kishan continues to fight a lone battle.

Boundary for Kishan! Brings out the reverse sweep and finds the gap. Much needed boundary for India with Sri Lankan spinners threatening. That's a calculated risk!

IND: 106/4 (12.5)

India's captain has been bamboozled! What a delivery from Sahan, and Iyer has been beaten by the turn. Turns past the outside edge and crashes into off stump.

Shreyas Iyer b Sahan 13 (13)

IND: 87/4 (9.4)

Clubbed over long-on for a six! Ishan Kishan has arrived at the Korogi Sports Park. He read that google brilliantly and absolutely nailed this down the ground. Runs continue to flow for India.

IND: 75/3 (8.3)

WICKET! Sooryavanshi's entertaining knock comes to an end. After a flurry of boundaries, holes out to third man after scoring 38 off just 21 deliveries, Sooryavanshi slices one and holes out to third man after scoring 38 off just 21 deliveries.

IND: 59/3 (6.2)

The 15-year-old is in complete control at the moment. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi clears his front leg and bludgeons the ball over cow corner for a massive six, sending it deep into the stands. That is pure power from the teenage sensation.

4, 6, 4 - The teenager is looking in sublime touch at the moment. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi first brings out the reverse sweep to perfection, sending the ball racing past fine leg for four. He follows it up by muscling the next delivery over cow corner for a towering six before drilling the third through extra cover for another boundary.

IND: 51/2 (5)

The teenage sensation is beginning to find his rhythm. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi greets the returning pacer with back-to-back boundaries, injecting much-needed momentum into the Indian innings after the early wickets.

IND: 36/2 (4)

Ratnayake strikes a crucial blow for Sri Lanka as Sanju Samson's stay at the crease comes to an end. It was a quicker, fuller delivery, and Samson was a touch late in bringing his bat down. Attempting an ambitious stroke, he fails to connect, and the ball crashes into the stumps.

Sanju Samson b Ratnayake 7 (9)

IND: 24/2 (2.6 Ov)

After launching a six, Abhishek Sharma's stay at the crease comes to an abrupt end. Looking to create room once again and go big, the left-hander fails to get hold of the shot. He misses the line, gets a thick outside edge, and the ball loops gently to short third, where the catch is safely taken. A big breakthrough for Sri Lanka!

Abhishek Sharma c Sineth Jayawardena b Arachchige 7 (3)

IND: 12/1 (1.2)

Sooryavanshi finally gets off the mark. Too full from Ratnayake and Sooryavanshi opens the face of the bat and lofts this over the fielder at cover. First boundary of the match.

IND: 6/0 (1)

Sooryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma are out in the middle as India get their innings underway in this crucial semi-final. Sri Lanka captain Sahan Arachchige is busy setting his field, with the visitors looking to make early inroads after opting to bowl first. Tharindu Ratnayake will start with the off-break!

Sri Lanka (Playing XI): Lasith Croospulle, Sineth Jayawardena, Sohan de Livera(w), Ashen Bandara, Sahan Arachchige(c), Nuwanidu Fernando, Chamika Karunaratne, Wanuja Sahan, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Tharindu Ratnayake, Binura Fernando

Both Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Sanju Samson have been included in India's playing XI, with Abhishek Sharma also featuring in the top order. The team management has opted for a spin-heavy combination, leaving out Arshdeep Singh and going in with just one specialist pacer for the crucial semi-final against Sri Lanka.
