Mohsin Naqvi presents the winners' medals to the Pakistan team. Pakistan celebrate as the champions of the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025. A fantastic performance on the big day, led by Sameer Minhas' incredible knock.

Pakistan opener Sameer Minhas has been named the 'Player of the Match' and 'Player of the Tournament'. An incredible 172 off 113 today, and a total of 471 runs in the tournament in just 5 games. A future star for sure in the Pakistan national team.

While India did manage to narrowly avoid the unwanted record, their defeat will still rank as the second-largest defeat by margin of runs in an U19 Asia Cup 2025 final. A 191-run loss does not represent the talent in the side, but today has been a day to forget.

This victory bears a striking similarity to Pakistan's Champions Trophy 2017 glory. In both tournaments, Pakistan had been beaten heavily by India in the group stages, but came back to clinch big wins over India in the final and win the cup.

Another great coincidence is that Sarfaraz Ahmed, Pakistan's Champions Trophy 2017-winning captain, is the mentor of the Pakistan U19 side.

A superb bowling display by Pakistan. India paid the price for their ultra-aggressive approach at the start, as they lost five wickets inside the first 10 overs. Pakistan kept their lines and lengths intact, and reaped the rewards. Having lost in the group phase, Pakistan bounce back with a big win in the final.

Mohsin Naqvi, the ACC chairman, celebrates with Pakistan fans as the team clinch victory. Naqvi, of course, is also the Federal Minister for Interior of Pakistan. He is likely to be the one to hand over the U19 Asia Cup trophy to the winning team.

It's all over! Pakistan are the winners of the U19 Asia Cup 2025. Their first title since 2012, and it's been a clinical performance from them. India are bowled out for just 156. Delight for Pakistan - a massive 191-run win!

BANG! Vaibhav Suryavanshi makes his intentions clear from the very first ball. On the first delivery from Ali Raza, Suryavanshi hammers a huge six. His presence will remind the fans about the drama which unfolded after senior men's Asia Cup final in September this year. A lot of drama is on the cards if Naqvi enters the ground. 

The U19 Asia Cup final match between India and Pakistan finally begins. For Pakistan, Hamza Zahoor and Sameer Minhas have opened the proceedings. India skipper Ayush Mhatre wins the toss, opts to bowl against Pakistan in the U19 Asia Cup final on Sunday in Dubai. 

After the semi-final match was interrupted by rain, all focus will be on Dubai's weather ahead of the U19 Asia Cup final between India and Pakistan. According to Accuweather, there's no chance of rain and it will be a sunny day during the final. 

Pakistan will rely on Sameer Minhas, the team’s highest run-getter with 299 runs in four matches, including a century and a half-century. In bowling, right-arm pacer Abdul Subhan has been the most successful bowler with 11 wickets from three matches, while left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Sayyam has claimed eight wickets so far.

Despite Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi not firing consistently, India can draw solace from the fact that other batters Aaron George, Vihaan Malhotra, Vedant Trivedi and Abhigyan Kundu are amongst the runs. The batting is complemented by pacers Kishan Singh, and Deepesh Devendran, while being backed by spinners Khilan Patel and Kanishk Chouhan.

For India, who have won the U19 Asia Cup eight times, the final offers a chance to practice being in high-pressure scenarios ahead of next month’s Under-19 World Cup, while Pakistan will view it as another test of temperament ahead of the mega event in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

The 50-over tournament has seen the rise of exciting young talents, such as 17-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Abhigyan Kundu. If teenage prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi set the tone in the opener against UAE with a breathtaking 95-ball 171 as India piled up 433/6, Kundu etched his name into the record books against Malaysia. The left-hander smashed an unbeaten 125-ball 209, becoming the first Indian to score a double century in Youth ODIs.

India carried that momentum into the semifinals on Friday, brushing aside Sri Lanka by eight wickets. Pakistan, on the other hand, reached the final by knocking out defending champions Bangladesh. India’s march to the final has been built on an all-round effort, with batters and bowlers gelling together seamlessly to form a formidable unit.

The Ayush Mhatre-led Indian colts have been a class apart, winning all their Group A matches to finish on top ahead of Pakistan, who suffered their only group-stage defeat against India, a 90-run loss last Sunday.
