West Indies batsman Darren Bravo has returned home after being ruled out of the rest of the one-day international (ODI) series against England with a groin injury.
Bravo suffered the injury while fielding at Southampton on Saturday during a 114-run defeat under the Duckworth/Lewis method that gave England a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
The West Indies will not call up a replacement for the 23-year-old.
Meanwhile the tourists were waiting to see if Chris Gayle and Andre Russell would be fit for the second ODI at The Oval here on Tuesday.
Dynamic opening batsman Gayle missed Saturday's match with a shin injury and was due to have a scan later Monday.
Meanwhile all-rounder Russell, who did play at Southampton, also faced a scan after falling heavily on his shoulder as he completed a run at the Rose Bowl.
The series concludes at Headingley on Friday.
