Saina advances to world junior final
India's badminton sensation Saina Nehwal beat Wang Shixian of China to reach finals of the world junior championships in Pune.

Top-seed Saina outplayed her Chinese opponent 22-20, 21-12 and won in straight sets. She had beaten Indonesia's Lindaweni Fanetri in the quarterfinals to make it to the final four.
With this win, she became the only Indian to reach world juniors final twice. She was silver medalist in the last edition of the world junior championships in Incheon, South Korea in 2006.
However, another Indian, fifth seed Gurusaidutt's journey in the tournament ended as he went down fighting against third seed Zhengming Wang of China 16-21 21-17 17-21 in a thrilling encounter that lasted 47 minutes.
