India made a resounding start at the Malaysian Super Series with the pair of Rupesh Kumar and Sanave Thomas advancing to the main draw after notching up convincing wins in the qualifiers on Tuesday.
The Indian duo first thumped the local pair of Yao Han OW and Hong Kheng Yew 21-16 21-14 in just 26 minutes before getting the better of Kah Ming Chooi and Zheng Lin Pang 22-20 21-19 in 30 minutes.
The qualifiers will next face third seeded Taiwanese pair of Hung Ling Chen and Yu Lang Lin on Wednesday.
