Badminton rankings: Saina Nehwal rises to No.7, PV Sindhu re-enters top-10
India Grand Prix Gold champion Saina Nehwal overtook German Juliane Schenk and Chinese Taipei's Tai Tzu Ying to take the No.7 position. Meanwhile, PV Sindhu entered the top-10 for the second time in her career.

Bolstered by the India Grand Prix Gold triumph Sunday, Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal jumped two places to No.7 in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) women's singles rankings released Thursday.
Saina overtook German Juliane Schenk and Chinese Taipei's Tai Tzu Ying to rise up the ladder.
Meanwhile, runner-up of the Lucknow event P.V. Sindhu entered the top-10 for the second time in her career. The World Championship bronze medallist equalled her best ranking (No.10) by rising a place in the same category.
Men's singles runner-up at the India Grand Prix Gold Kidambi Srikanth made a remarkable leap of 10 places to be ranked No.20, overtaking Mumbai's Ajay Jayaram, who dropped a place to No.22.
Parupalli Kashyap, however, is the best ranked Indian male shuttler at No.18.
