The medical commission that was to investigate the hearing into the missed drugs test by two Greek athletes has agreed to postpone the meeting by two days. This comes after Kostas Kenteris and Katerina Thanou said that they were still not ready for the test following their car accident on Friday. Both the athletes, who have currently been withdrawn from the Greek team pending their investigation, missed a drugs test on Friday. As per the rules in athletics, a missed test for no valid reason invites a two-year ban. Reports in the last few days suggest that both Kenteris and Thanou have a suspicious track record when it comes to drug tests. In fact, they missed a test in USA last week.
