Anju wins silver at Pattaya

Anju Bobby George has won her first medal of the season at the Asian Indoor Championships in Pattaya.

Anju Bobby George has won her first medal of the season at the Asian Indoor Championships in Pattaya. The long jumper registered a distance of 6.32 m to win the silver. A first place finish could have seen her move from her current world ranking of four to second place. Anju will also be competing at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow next month. Her schedule this year includes the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and the Doha Asian Games.
