Del Potro downs Tsonga in Marseille semi-final

Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro reached his second successive final on Saturday when he defeated top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-4, 6-7 (9/11), 6-3 in the semi-finals at Marseille.

Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro reached his second successive final on Saturday when he defeated top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-4, 6-7 (9/11), 6-3 in the semi-finals at Marseille.

World number 10 Del Potro, the 2009 US Open champion, was beaten by Roger Federer in the Rotterdam last weekend.

He will tackle either France's Michael Llodra or Serb third seed Janko Tipsarevic in Sunday's final.
