Triple H then made the announcement official by sharing the match graphic for the upcoming premium live event. This isn't just a challenge floating around anymore. Reigns has a confirmed title defense, and Knight has his shot.

The timing is pretty wild. Reigns had just survived Penta, only for another major challenger to step in almost immediately.

LA Knight Has Been Waiting Three Years For Roman Reigns

The history between these two goes back to 2023, when Reigns was at the height of his power. They first faced off for the WWE and Universal Championships at Crown Jewel, with the Bloodline leader getting the win.

Their rivalry continued at the Royal Rumble in a Fatal Four-Way match involving AJ Styles and Randy Orton. Once again, Reigns walked away with the championship.
