Travis Kelce Reveals One Thing He Wishes He Could Change About His Wedding To Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce has finally opened up about one of the most talked-about moments of his personal life, his wedding to Taylor Swift. Nearly two months after the couple exchanged vows, the Kansas City Chiefs star offered a rare glimpse into the celebration on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast. While Kelce described the night as magical and unforgettable, he admitted there was one thing he would have changed. He simply wanted the celebration to last longer.

For Kelce, the wedding was less about putting on a grand celebrity spectacle and more about creating a night where the people closest to him and Swift could relax together. Madison Square Garden provided the private setting the couple wanted, despite its enormous profile.

Looking back, Kelce said the evening moved far too quickly. “It's a night out we'll never forget,” Travis recalled of the ceremony.

He added, “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody's stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man.”

Then came the one regret that made his brother Jason Kelce laugh. “I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye,” Travis said.

Jason's response was much more practical: “They kicked us out.”

Kelce explained that once drinks stopped being served, guests naturally began leaving. For a celebration packed with famous faces and people from both stars' lives, the night clearly ended before he was ready for it to.

One of the couple's biggest priorities was keeping the wedding private and personal. Guests were asked to put away their phones, a decision that Kelce felt changed the atmosphere in a meaningful way. “It was so cool to see how everybody interacted and with no phones comes people not having to be on guard and feel that whatever that feeling is for everyone,” Travis recalled.

He continued, “It makes everyone be in the moment and be present. And it was it was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood, not only mesh with Taylor and her childhood and her family and friends and people that she works with, to who we've come in counter with over our career and who we just admire as people and have become good friends with now.”

The celebration also featured Adam Sandler as the officiant, while Jason served as Kelce's best man and Taylor's brother Austin Swift took the role of man of honor. Rather than following a heavily formal reception format, the couple focused on giving their guests time to mingle, celebrate and enjoy themselves.

For Kelce, that freedom may be exactly why the night passed so quickly. His only wish was simple: more time with the people he and Swift love.
