Dmitry Tursunov of Russia outlasted sixth seed Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia 7-6 (6), 6-7 (3), 7-5 in a marathon three-hour first-round match at the Japan Open on Wednesday.

Dmitry Tursunov of Russia outlasted sixth seed Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia 7-6 (6), 6-7 (3), 7-5 in a marathon three-hour first-round match at the Japan Open on Wednesday.
