Top seed Robin Soderling battled back from a set down to beat Spain's David Ferrer in the Baastad ATP claycourt tournament on Saturday and set up a final clash with Nicolas Almagro.
Sweden's Soderling, the world number five and French Open runner-up, saw off Ferrer 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, a day after also requiring three sets to see off Italy's Andreas Seppi, the world 76.
Fourth seed Almagro eased past fellow Spaniard Tommy Robredo 6-1, 6-3.
Soderling leads his career head-to-head with Almagro 3-2, but the Spaniard won their last meeting on clay in Madrid in May.
