18:08 IST: With both the ladies yearning for a title, we can expect the match to be a nerve-wracking one just like the two semi-finals of men's singles event on Friday. Sixth seeded Milos Raonic stunned seven-time champion Roger Federer to become the first Canadian to reach a Grand Slam final. Coached by tennis legend John McEnroe, the 25-year-old Canadian triumphed 6-3, 6-7 (3/7), 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 over Federer. He will face Andy Murray in the title clash, who outplayed Czech Republic's Tomas Berdych 6-3,6-3,6-3 to reach the finals.

18:03 IST: Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the Wimbledon 2016 final match. Top seed Serena Williams will take on her 14th seeded rival Angelique Kerber in quest of a 22nd Grand Slam title. The year 2016 has not been a happy one for the 34-year-old American, who lost in the finals of Australian Open in January, and then failed to clinch the French Open. On the other hand, Kerber will look to repeat the heroics of Australian Open final and upset Williams once again.

Now, with Muguruza exiting early, Serena has a chance for some revenge as she faces Kerber, who had defeated her in Australia. There is plenty at stake for the defending Wimbledon champion. A victory will give the American a seventh title at the All-England club and more importantly, draw her level with Steffi Graf with 22 Grand Slam titles.
The number 22 has been haunting Serena since January and she will be aiming to avoid a hat-trick of losses in Grand Slam finals. However, it will not be easy against Kerber, who has been in fine form.
The German has shown that she is not a one-hit wonder with her progress and has not lost a set throughout the tournament. Although she has won only two of seven meetings against Serena, her victory in the Australian Open will give her tremendous confidence. She will be determined to once again fight against the odds and deny Serena a record 22nd Grand Slam title
