New women's world number 1 Serena Williams beats her sister and defending champion Venus to win the Championship in Doha. It was yet another Williams family day out and it's Serena who scored her fourth straight win over sister Venus. The new World number one rounded off a fantastic year by winning the season ending Sony Ericsson WTA Championships. Surprisingly, this is the younger Williams' first non - major tournament win since Charleston in April 2008.
