Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis defeated the Italian 11th seeds Sara Errani and Flavia Pennetta 6-4 6-1 in US Open 2015 semi-final.

Sania and Martina will face the winner of the second semi-final between fourth seeds Casey Dellacqua/Yaroslava Shvedova and Anna-Lena Groenefeld/Coco Vandeweghe in the summit clash.
Sania and Martina had lifted the Wimbledon trophy in July.
There was disappointment though in the Junior Girls Singles category as Karman Kaur Thandi's winning run ended against Dalma Galfi in the third round. The 17-year-old Indian went down against the second-seeded German 6-4, 7-6.
