Sania focuses for Commonwealth Games

Indian tennis queen Sania Mirza is now concentrating on the forthcoming Commonwealth Games though she is on a rehabilitation process to get over her wrist injury.
Interacting with media persons after inaugurating the Pailan World School Residential Tennis Academy at Joka near here, Sania said, "My goal is now to win medals in the Commonwealth Games."
Asked how she plans to prepare for the Games, the Hyderabadi girl said, "I'm on a rehabilitation process to recover from my injury. I will decide about which tournaments to play before the Games after six weeks during which I hope to recover."
On Indian Hockey team's victory against Pakistan, Sania said, "Congratulations to the Indian team. It is a fantastic victory."
Asked whether cricketer Sachin Tendulkar be given the 'Bharat Ratna award', Sania said "Sachin certainly deserve it. But it depends on the government".
Sania complimented the Academy director and former Davis Cupper Jaideep Mukerjea and school chairman Apurba Saha for setting up the residential academy for the young tennis aspirants of the state and the region.
"We did not have such facilities when we grew up," she said.
Wearing a a black track suit, she also exchanged a few shots with the students of the academy students in court.
