Rudi Berger dies of cancer

Munich:
Rudi Berger, a popular former tennis umpire, has died of cancer, the Iphitos tennis club said. He was 55.

Berger's career began in 1980 and ended in 2001. He also served as the director of the BMW Open in Munich, held at the Iphitos Club.
