Roger Federer seems to have shunned his clean-shaven looks in return for some crucial wins in the ATP World Tour Finals in London. The 34-year-old Swiss has seemingly put his razor in the cold storage and does not want to use it as long as he is winning.
Is Federer turning superstitious? A choice of chairs during his match against world No. 1 Novak Djokovic was a topic of hot discussion and now his stubble.
After Federer defeated Djokovic on Tuesday, the usually clean-shaven Swiss was asked on his new 'style.' He replied: "The water is very special here in London. I shaved this morning and got this beard this afternoon, it's weird."
As the World Tour Finals enter its knockout stage, it is not sure if undefeated-so-far Federer will return to his clean looks.

"If it itches too much, I'll take it off. If my girls can't stand it, I'll take it off. If I look in the mirror and I don't like it, I'll take it off," he said after defeating Nishikori on Thursday.
Then with Christmas not far away, Federer joked: "Maybe I'll think of Santa and keep it. It's around the corner. I don't know yet."
And more importantly, wife Mirka is "fine" with the beard. "I do take decisions by myself sometimes," Federer signed off.
