Serena Williams Clinches 3rd French Open, 20th Grand Slam Title

Serena battled flu to add yet another title to her name.

She raced to an early lead and capitalised by taking the 1st set 6-3.

Safarova survived an early break to launch a tremendous fightback. She won the tie-breaker to take the match into the deciding game.

The third set was all Serena as she took control right from the word go. She won it 6-2 and took the match.

She was overjoyed at the victory.

Safarova missed out on her maiden Grand Slam.

Serena's win took her one step closer to Steffi Graf's record of 22 Grand Slams.
