Murray into French Open second round

British third seed Andy Murray beat Argentina's Juan Ignacio Chela 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 on Sunday to reach the French Open second round.

Andy Murray quickly overcame a shaky start and advanced to the second round of the French Open by beating Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 on Sunday.

The third-seeded Murray was broken in the opening game of the first set, but he immediately broke back to make it 1-1.

The Briton was rarely threatened after that, although Chela did manage another break. Murray finished the match with eight breaks of serve.
