Martina Navratilova Marries Longtime Partner Julia Lemigova

Nine-time Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova married her longtime partner Julia Lemigova in New York on Monday.
Lemigova said she was "overwhelmed," while Navratilova said her newly updated marital status felt "just really odd."
"I'm 58 years old, I got married for the first time - it's about time, right?" said Navratilova, as reported by BBC.
Navratilova and Lemigova began dating in 2006.
Earlier in September, Navratilova got down on one knee and proposed to Lemigova at the US Open.

Navratilova, 58, popped the question during a break in the Tennis Channel broadcast of men's singles semi-final day.

"I was very nervous, but it came off, and she said yes, and I was flying high," Navratilova told www.wta.com
