Ferrer marches on in Valencia
Top seed and hometown boy David Ferrer eased into the quarter-finals of the ATP Valencia Open 500 tournament here on Wednesday beating Canadian qualifier Vasek Pospisil 6-3, 6-3.

Top seed and hometown boy David Ferrer eased into the quarter-finals of the ATP Valencia Open 500 tournament here on Wednesday beating Canadian qualifier Vasek Pospisil 6-3, 6-3.
Ferrer, ranked five in the world, will play Russian veteran Nickolay Davydenko in Friday's quarter-final.
Davydenko, currently ranked 36 in the world, was due to play Nicolas Mahut on Wednesday in a second round match, but the Frenchman had to withdraw due to a family bereavement.
