The 21-year-old Danish star, has held the world No.1 position throughout 2011, but has never won a Grand Slam in her career.
"There are five really big tournaments next year, and I will focus strongly on them. I will make every effort to win a Grand Slam title, and a medal at the Olympics," Wozniacki told Danish daily newspaper Ekstra Bladet.
She admitted that she didn't mind dropping down the rankings in her quest for the elusive Grand Slam.
"These are my big goals," she said, referring to the Grand Slam and Olympic titles. "And if I prioritise differently should mean that I lose my first place ranking, then I just have to accept that."
Wozniacki finished 2011 on top of the rankings following six WTA victories this year in Dubai, Indian Wells, Charleston, Brussels, Copenhagen and New Haven.
She was also named the Danish Tennis Association's Player of the Year for the fifth year in a row here on Tuesday.
Wozniacki herself accepted that it is time to change focus. "I will think a little bit more about myself, and not so much about my first place rank," she said, adding that she would focus on one tournament at a time.
