Sofia:
Bulgaria's number-two tennis player Dimitar Kutrovsky has been banned for two years for doping, the Bulgarian Tennis Federation said on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old had tested positive for the banned substance methylhexanamine at a tournament in San Jose, California in February, it added.
A probe by the International Tennis Federation found that the player had not used the banned substance deliberately but was ignorant about its presence in another product which he used at the tournament.
His lawyer has said he would appeal the ban which enters into force retrospectively from February 14.
